Terms and Conditions
Payment
Payment is due upon receipt of goods or completion of services. Orders paid for at the time they are placed may qualify for a 5% discount. Orders over $1000 may require a 50% deposit to cover the cost of materials. Payment is preferred in the form of a check or Visa/MasterCard payment. Bounced checks may result in a $25 penalty.
Turnaround
Standard turn-around on screen printing orders under $1000 is 5 business days from the approval by Mediums and the customer of finalized artwork, garments and sizing. However, since graphics requests, stock checking and customer correspondence can take several days to complete, it is important to begin orders much earlier than a week before they are needed.
Samples
Mediums offers a sample service to customers as an insurance that the print, colors, size and placement will look as expected. The sample program entitles the customer to view the first print of a production run and to have the opportunity to make changes. However, for mistakes for which the customer is responsible (design changes, misspellings, etc.), the customer may be charged for substantial labor or other resources required to make changes. Often entire garments (front and back) may be sampled, but due to the complexity of the screen printing process, this will not always be possible and samples may be provided one location at a time. Sample requests and design changes/corrections will increase turnaround time.
Art
Final artwork for screen printing processes must be fine-tuned and approved by an experienced screen printing graphics specialists. Because customer submitted graphics (no matter their format) must usually be recreated to meet screen printing requirements, matching final artwork to original artwork can not always be guaranteed. Also, font matching cannot be guaranteed unless the font is identified and the customer may be required to submit the digital font file in a Windows compatible format. The customer may be charged for art creation that requires substantial labor or other resources. Garments
Garments may be unavailable or discontinued in one or all desired sizes and colors at the time of order placement. In this case, order turnaround will be longer than usual and garments substitutions may be required with customer consent.
Sizing
Most garments are available in small, medium, large and extra large. Some garments may be available in youth or multiple-x sizes. Since sizing can vary by manufacturer, Mediums provides sample garments from many manufacturers so that customers can test sizing. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the sizes they order will are correct before ordering. Mediums is not responsible for garment shrinking or stretching after delivery.
Rush Orders
Orders needed before the standard turn-around time of 5 days after artwork, garment and sizing approval are subject to rush charges. In addition to extra charges, rush orders are subject to the following guidelines:
- Mediums will pursue all reasonable options to complete the job by the desired deadline. However, since many aspects of order processing and rush ordering, are not under Mediums’ control, Mediums can never guarantee the completion of an order by a rush deadline.
- Usually the order will be completed by the deadline with no complications, in which case the customer will be obligated pay for the order, including rush charges at the time of receipt.
- If, for some reason the order cannot be completed by the rush deadline, the customer may choose one of three options.
- Option 1 is to have the order completed by the standard turn-around date and waive all rush charges except those already incurred by Mediums.
- Option 2 is to purchase only garments completed at the deadline at a fair premium, to compensate Mediums for incurred expences determined by several factors, and cancel the remaining garments.
- Option 3 is to cancel the order completely and pay only for materials, labor and other resources consumed by the job up to the rush deadline.

Promotions and discounts for certain organizations may be subject to certain restrictions including by not limited to:
- Payment upon order placement
- Quantity Restrictions
- Garment Restrictions
- Artwork Restrictions
- Sampling Restrictions
